1. Introduction
In this article, you’ll learn how to complete your initial registration in CDEAdminTools.
This process only needs to be completed once and allows your organization to securely connect with Autodesk Platform Services (APS).

How to complete the registration form
How to provide your Autodesk application credentials
How to validate and activate your CDEAdminTools account
2. Prerequisites
Before you start, make sure you have:
An active Autodesk account
Permissions to create or manage apps in Autodesk Platform Services (formerly Forge)
Access to your work email (for confirmation)
Administrator rights within your organization (recommended)
3. Registration Steps
Step 1 — Access the Registration Page
Open the registration link you received by email or navigate to the registration page from the CDEAdminTools login screen.
Step 2 — Complete Your Basic Information
Fill in the required fields:
Company name
Company description
Step 3 — Create Your Autodesk Application
To connect your CDEAdminTools account, you need:
Client ID
Client Secret

Step 4 — Enter Your Autodesk Credentials
Paste your Client ID and Client Secret into the corresponding fields in the registration form.
Click Signup to confirm that the credentials are correct.
After validation you will receive a confirmation email.
Your CDEAdminTools tenant will now be ready for configuration.
